Real Madrid and Manchester City Play to a Thrilling 3-3 Draw

Second-Half Surge from City Cancels Out Real Madrid's Early Lead

Manchester City came from behind to earn a thrilling 3-3 draw against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg on Tuesday. The visitors took an early lead through Karim Benzema's penalty, but City rallied back in the second half with goals from Phil Foden and Vinicius Junior.

City Dominate the Second Half

After a quiet first half, City came out firing in the second period. They equalized through Foden in the 53rd minute, and then took the lead just four minutes later when Vinicius Junior slotted home a deflected shot. Real Madrid responded well, however, and Benzema equalized again in the 82nd minute.

The match looked to be heading for a draw, but Foden had the final say. The Englishman scored his second goal of the night in the 90th minute to give City a crucial away goal. The draw leaves the tie finely poised ahead of the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu next week.
